After a disappointing result against Barcelona, on yesterday’s Champions League clash, The Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois dropped something of a transfer hint.
The 25-year-old keeper is one of the best on his position, and it’s not surprising to see him being associated with Los Blancos as the Madrid side seem to look for a new decent player for that position.
Don Balon stated this week that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is allegedly in talks with Courtois’ agents and the Belgium International himself has appeared to welcome this kind of interest, verifying that proposals of this kind are on the cards and that his agents will monitor them.
The Belgian goalkeeper was unsure about his future, stating that he will not ignore the faith shown in him by Chelsea, although, also complaining about his family living in Madrid and underlining their importance.
Chelsea’s number 13 appears to have said the following sentence: “I’m not clear about my future, but what I said that my heart is in Madrid was misunderstood.”
Anyway, with Courtois still to renew his contract that runs out at the end of next season, this is undoubtedly an additional troubling issue for Chelsea supporters regarding keeping hold of one of their most prominent footballers.
