The agent of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, has confirmed that two clubs are interested in signing his client, one of which is from the Premier League.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the move for Atleti keeper as a replacement for David De Gea, who is likely to join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old Oblak has a €100m (£84.8m) release clause in his contract deal with Atletico, and the agent of Slovenia international has revealed that the goalkeeper has attracted serious interest.
During his interview with the Goal, Oblak’s agent Miha Mlakar said: ‘His future? It’s too soon [to discuss] because there are still League games to play, but it’s true that, like I’ve always said, there’s a lot of interest in the best goalkeeper in the world.
‘Above all, there are two clubs that are really interested in Oblak for next season.
‘One is certainly from the United Kingdom. Italy? Please, is this a serious question? In Italy, only Juventus are at the top level and they have Buffon, who’s now in the Champions League final.
‘If you ask me, he can play for a few more years without any problems.’ He added.
