According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are on the verge of announcing the transfer of young striker Bruno Amorim from Oliveirense.
The 19-year-old sensation is poised to join the academy at the Red Devils after the director of the Portuguese side’s confirmed the deal. Speaking to Noticias ao Minuto, Antonio Jose Leite revealed that the move is “90% done” with the transfer to be completed imminently.
During his interview, Leite said: “He had been promoted to the main squad, but the scouting (Manchester United) was already aware and decided to take him there to experience.
“At this time the business is 90% done and he can have an excellent contract. The contract will shortly be announced, but it is a future bet on United.”
Amorim, who is dubbed as one of the most promising youngsters in Portugal, he impressed Man United scouts after his seven appearances in the third-tier where he helped them to promotion.
The talented youngster is set to link up with Nicky Butt’s Under-23 side, joining Aliou Badara Traore and Largie Ramazani who were also brought in this summer.
