As per the SPORT, Napoli have slapped a £45m price tag on Antonio Conte’s top transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 26-year-old powerhouse has established himself as one of those best centre-backs in Italy over the past few years and he is a wanted man.
Premier League trio, Chelsea, Southampton and Everton are interested in the Senegal international, while Barcelona are tracking him too.
But, according to the same sources, anyone looking to sign Koulibaly in January will have to part with £45m.
Napoli consider the centre-back as a key part of their plans and will not let him go for anything less than that.
Koulibaly is understood to be settled at the Italian club too and has a contract there until 2021.
Alongside the powerful Senegalese, Chelsea are also interested in signing his team-mate Dries Mertens.
The Belgian star only signed a new contract with Napoli in May with the €28m release clause, but he has been linked with a move away from the Italian club after he hit 28 Seria A goals last season.
Whether Chelsea will be willing to break their long-standing policy and open their chequebook for a player over 30 is another matter.
Mertens joined Napoli in summer of 2013 from PSV for €9.5m. He played in 194 games so far and scored 77 goals for the club.
