According to the English media sources, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has asked to be kept informed over the future of Arsenal on-loan midfield star Jack Wilshere ahead of a potential transfer move in summer
The England international is currently on a season-long loan spell at Bournemouth and faces an uncertain future at north London club after losing his first-team place in Wenger’s starting XI.
The French manager felt he had no room for Jack Wilshere this term before sending the fans favourite star out on loan on deadline day, but he remains hot property among Premier League clubs.
Manchster City are long-time admirers of the English midfielder, with Pep Guardiola interested in possibly adding the 25-year-old star to his midfield, while another Premier League club Everton are also among his admirers.
Wilshere was once regarded as the future of English football, but has seen his career derailed by endless injuries.
The Citizens, meanwhilre, are chasing for the replacement of their midfielder lkay Gundogan, who has picked up a serious injury, while Wilshere could also be a useful signing to replace the likes of Yaya Toure and Fabian Delph.
The England international will be out of contract with the Gunners at the end of the 2017/18 campaign, and Arsene Wenger will decide over the next few months what course of action to take over the player’s future.
