Chelsea have surprisingly entered the hunt for Lyon goal machine Alexandre Lacazette
As reported by the L’Equipe, the Premier League champions have asked about Lacazette’s availability.

Antonio Conte is preparing a swoop for the Frenchman in case the deal to land Everton forward Romelu Lukaku falls through.

According to the Daily, Star Lukaku prefers a return to Chelsea despite interest from Manchester United.

However Everton want £79m (€90m), so Conte is looking at alternative options.

The France International has a host of sides chasing his services after a fine season for Lyon.

The 26-year-old scored 37 goals in 45 matches in all tournaments but is about to enter the final two seasons of his deal.
He appeared set to join Atletico Madrid, however, the Spanish club’s transfer ban until January 2018 threw a spanner in the works.

L’Equipe suggest Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan are all keen.

The North Londoners lead the chase, having held the most advanced negotiations.

Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas says to have an offer on the table from Arsenal.

The Reds have also enquired about Lacazette. However, he has concerns about a transfer to Anfield.
