Arsenal lining up £35m move for 28-year-old La Liga powerhouse

December 6, 2017

According to the reports, Arsenal are ready to battle Everton for the signature of Sevilla midfield star Steven N’Zonzi.

The 28-year-old powerhouse has not featured for Sevilla since being substituted at the interval of their Champions League clash with Liverpool last month.

It is believed that the French midfielder left the stadium after being hooked, and has been forced to train alone over the last couple of weeks as punishment.

Everton have been heavilly linked with a move for the former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City midfielder, but according to AS, Arsenal are also very much in the hunt as the Gunners consider activating his £35m release clause next month.

N’Zonzi has won one Europa League title during his time at the Estadio Ramon.

Meanwhile, Arsenal ready to join Liverpool in the battle to seal the transfer of Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, according to the reports.

According to Diario Gol, Real Madrid stopper Keylor Navas is unhappy with the life at Santiago Bernabeu and could make a switch to Premier League in the nearby future.

The Costa Rican keeper has established himself as one of the best on his position in the recent years, but it is believed that Real Madrid are keen on to lure David De Gea or Thibaut Courtois at Santiago Bernabeu after the end of the season.

Navas became Real’s number back in 2015 replacing the legendary stopper Iker Casillas. However, now it seems he continues to struggle to win a place in the starting lineup at the moment.
