Arsenal are reportedly keen on to lure Napoli midfielder Allan at Emirates Stadium after the end of the current campaign.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder whose side are in the hunt for the Serie A trophy this campaign, has found the back of the net four times this term as the club sit a point behind from Juventus.
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal head-coach Arsene Wenger is expected to mount a challenge for the highly-rated midfielder at the end of the current campaign along with a host of other top Europan clubs.
The Italian source reported, that Arsenal’s first battle will be with Serie A giants Napoli, who want to keep Allan at Stadio Sao Paolo.
Napoli will look to focus on securing the Serie A title this campaign after being eliminated from Europe League by RB Leipzig.
Arsene Wenger sees Allan as a perfect replacement for Granit Xhaka who has failed to impress at Emirates Stadium since his arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach back in 2016.
Allan would be a perfect addition to Arsene Wenger’s squad whether Frenchman remains in charge of Arsenal after the end of the current campaign.
