Arsenal are keeping tabs on Chelsea’s versatile midfielder Kenedy. However, they could face tough competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian wing-man failed to make an impact under Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge being sent on loan to Newcastle United where he has impressed and attracted interest from the hosts of European clubs.
Kenedy made just five appearances for defending Premier League champions and none in the English top-tier before he joined the Newcastle United back in January where he has played a significant role in helping Rafa Benitez’s side to remain in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Brazilian star has found the back of the net twice and provided a further two assists in 8 Premier League games and ESPN claims his performances have alerted Europe’s heavyweight.
Arsenal have signed the versatile wing-back Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from Bundesliga giants Schalke last season, but the Bosnia international has poorly faded following a bright start and lost his place to Nacho Monreal.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are planning to offload Kenedy after the end of the current campaign with Antonio Conte didn’t see him in his plans.
Kenedy has joined the Blues from Fluminense in a deal worth around £6million back in the summer of 2015.
