According to the reports, Paris Saint-Germain are looking into the prospect of signing Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old attacker has had a mixed debut season at west London, scoring 12 goals in all competitions but seeing his recent playing time hampered by injuries.
As per the Paris United, the Ligue 1 champions have not been put off by Morata’s dip in form as they are keen to bring him to the Parc des Princes later this year.
French giants already have Edinson Cavani, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar up top, but sporting director Antero Henrique is believed to have identified the Spain international as another option to provide competition in 2018-19 and beyond.
Morata last featured for Chelsea in their FA Cup third-round replay win over Norwich City on January 17 when being shown two yellow cards in quick succession.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have to challenge with Premier League giants in race for Leicester City rebel winger Riyad Mahrez.
The 26-year-old Mahrez has effectively gone AWOL after being denied a transfer deadline day move to Manchester City, who offered £60m.
Highly-demanded Algeria international is now hoping Man City manager Pep Guardiola will try again at the end of the season. But the Citizens will have competition from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
