Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly urged his team to sign Belgian forward Eden Hazard, according to the reporters from Spain.
The Belgian has strongly linked with a possible switch to Real Madrid. However, the Spanish media outlet Don Balon now claim that they’re focusing on other priorities for the upcoming transfer window and Messi urged his club to splash the money and lure Belgian superstar at Nou Camp.
The Argentine is believed to be a huge fan of Eden Hazard and believes he would be a perfect fit to the Catalans.
Defending Premier League champions won’t want to lose their star player, who has been at Stamford Bridge since his transfer from Lile back in 2012.
Spanish giants, however, need some top class additions to their front line as they are still in the market for Neymar’s replacement.
Luis Suarez has struggled for goals this campaign with summer signing Ousmane Dembele has played only three games following the muscle injury, and a player of Hazard’s skill and intelligence could help the Catalans to compete for all possible trophies for every year.
It remains to be seen how much influence Argentina superstar can exert over the club’s moves in the transfer market. However, the Blues should perhaps be worried by these developments.
