Serie A giants Napoli are allegedly keen to sign Chelsea out-of-favour defender David Luiz this summer.
Italian giants new manager Carlo Ancelotti is planning to raid his ex-club to snap up the South American defender, according to La Repubblica.
Luiz struggled to hold down first-team football at Stamford Bridge last campaign and has been tipped to leave Chelsea this summer, with his former team Benfica touted as a potential destination.
Ancelotti is said have added the defender to his shopping list, along with Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Luiz made just four appearances for Antonio Conte’s side last term in the Champions League and 10 in Premier League.
Meanwhile, another Brazilian star has been on the verge to leave Stamford Bridge stadium, Luiz’s international teammate Willian was rumoured with a switch to Chelsea’s direct Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Red Devils are determined ot strengthen their offensive end ahead of the new season and Willian could be an ideal replacement for his signature with Anthony Martial’s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air.
