The reports from English media claim that Chelsea out-of-favour striker Michy Batshuayi would prefer to join West Ham United over Swansea City if he leaves the Stamford Bridge on a loan deal during the January transfer window.
According to the Bleacher Report, the 23-year-old forward is not taken with the prospect of moving to Paul Clement’s side and would rather seal a temporary move to the Hammers.
The potential move of Michy Batshuayi to Swansea was triggered following the Blues reported interest in Swans centre-forward Fernando Llorente.
The Spanish media have claimed that the Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is keen on bringing the forward he managed at Juventus to Stamford Bridge in order to bolster his attacking ranks.
Meanwhile, Slaven Bilic’s side continue to search for a new striker and Michy Batshuayi is reportedly on the club’s shortlist of temporary options until the end of the campaign.
The Belgium international was signed in a massive £33m deal from League 1 outfit Marseille last summer but is yet to start a match in the Premier League.
Batshuayi was given his chance in Saturday’s FA Cup clash against Peterborough by Antonio Conte and young striker managed to find the back of the net as Chelsea cruised to a 4-1 win.
