AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci is keen on to make a move to Chelse as Italian centre-back eyeing to work with Antonio Conte once again.
The 30-year-old defender has worked with Antonio Conte at Juventus and Italy national team.
The pair enjoyed a huge success both domestically and internationally level, and a reunion at Chelsea has now been mooted.
Former Juventus boss is keen on for the new arrivals at Chelsea before the end of the January transfer window, following Ross Barkley’s £15m arrival to Stamford Bridge.
And getting a defender in could be vital as Brazilian centre-back David Luiz is eyeing an exit from Chelsea.
Luiz is out-of-favour under Antonio Conte and being linked with a move to direct Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Italy international defender would fit the bill as a high-calibre replacement for Luiz.
Tribal Football claimed that the centre-back, who has joined AC Milan from their direct Serie A rivals Juventus in the summer, is up for playing for Antonio Conte once again.
It’s not worked out for Bonucci at the San Siro and would love to work with his former manager.
When asked about Conte last year, Bonucci said: “I have been coached by some great coaches.
“Each one of them has given me something but the best one and the manager that has given me the most is Conte.
“I could work every day with him and I have improved as a manager and as a human being.”
Bonucci has joined AC Milan from Juventus for €42m before the start of 2017/18 season.
