According to the latest transfer news from the English media, Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger has personally discussed a potential deal with Ajax for midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who has also been on the radar of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

The 20-year-old De Jong has made his first-team debut for Ajax Amsterdam last November and has greatly impressed for the Dutch giants this campaign, making eight Eredivisie appearances as the side sit second in the table behind PSV Eindhoven.

As per The Sun, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been alerted to De Jong’s displays and the Premier League trio could be set to battle it out for the youngster.
