According to the reports from Don Balon, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has emerged as a potential transfer target for Chelsea.
The 23-year-old Raheem Sterling has established himself as one of the most important players of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad at the Etihad Stadium, with 19 goals being scored in 34 matches in all competitions this term.
However, despite talk over a new contract deal, Sterling’s current deal expires in 2020 and it appears that Antonio Conte’s side may look to exploit any uncertainty regarding the future of England international.
As per the same sources, the Stamford Bridge club will make their move for the speedy Englishman if Eden Hazard joins Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea are keen for the Belgian superstar to remain at west London but if he does leave for the Santiago Bernabeu, the Blues would likely receive over £100m for the signature of their iconic No.10.
That would provide the funds for a bid to be launched for Sterling, who has previously spent time in England’s capital with Queens Park Rangers
