Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Manchester United full-back, Luke Shaw’s contract situation at Old Trafford.
The England international defender has made just six Premier League starts for Jose Mourinho’s side this term, however, has moved back into favour with Portuguese boss, who recently claimed that the defender will sign a new deal with the Red Devils.
According to The Mirror, despite Mourinho’s comments, talks over a new contract have stalled as a 22-year-old defender is eyeing a huge pay rise on his current deal and it has put Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea on alert as both of them are keen on to sign him.
The newspaper says that Shaw’s camp are hopeful of increasing his wages from £80,000 a week to between £120,000 and £150,000 under a new contract with the Red Devils, although the player could move to London.
Shaw’s current contract expires at the end of the 2018-19 season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Arsenal eyeing move for Hamburg wonderkid Josha Vagnoman.
The Sun is reporting that Arsene Wenger has sent Sven Mislintat to keep a close eye on the 17-year-old defender.
