The race to sign Jeff Schlupp is hotting up with reports Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and West Brom are all willing to meet Leicester City’s £12million valuation.
Crystal Palace have already had a £9.5m bid rejected for the 24-year-old but Sky Sports report that the Premier League club are willing to up their bid.
Aston Villa also harbour hopes of signing Schlupp and, despite being in the Championship, the Guardian say that the West Midlands club are willing to keep up with the pace.
West Brom are also said to be willing to redouble their efforts to sign Schlupp now that their pursuit of Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin is now over.
United have agreed a deal with Everton for the sale of Schneiderlin, which means the Baggies are now expected to return their focus on Schlupp.
West Brom had multiple bids for Schlupp rejected in the summer, the last of which was believed to be around £12m.
However, it is understood that Leicester are now happy to let Schlupp leave with a deal expected to be struck as early as this week.
