Manchester United have reportedly already held initial talks with the representative of Chelsea forward Willian over a summer switch to Old Trafford.
The Brazil international forward is a long-term favourite of Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese manager lured him at Stamford Bridge back in 2013 from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Former Real Madrid boss is believed to have approached the South American forward in the past, most recently making his interest known last season, and the Manchester Evening News reported that a move between the clubs could finalise.
The 29-year-old forward who is a part of Brazil’s 23-man teams for the World Cup, has two years left to current deal with Chelsea and may be offloaded if he indicates that he wants out.
However, the Red Devils have not done any business with Willian’s agent Kia Joorabchian since Carlos Tevez’s controversial move to Manchester City a decade ago.
Meanwhile, the two parties could also agree on a deal for another Brazilian player David Luiz whose future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air.
David Luiz has been frustrated with his playing time at Chelsea and reportedly considering an exit from Stamford Bridge.
