According to the Bild, Bayern Munich have earmarked three Germans manager to take over next season and one of them is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp alongside Thomas Tuchel and Joachim Low.
The Italian head coach Carlo Ancelotti was sacked at the beginning of this season having lost the squad, and instead of making a quick appointment, Bayern Munich are trusting JuppHeynckes to get them through 2017/18 campaign before choosing a long-term boss.
It is also believed that the whisperings of discontent about Klopp from some Liverpool fans have encouraged Bayern to pursue the Reds manager.
Liverpool fans hope and believe that Klopp sees the Merseyside club as his project and that he wouldn’t betray them and his former club Borussia Dortmund by taking the job.
At Liverpool, Klopp has owners who trust his judgement and has the chance to build a legacy and become a club legend.
Bayern Munich win the title every year in Germany, so any achievement in his homeland will pale into significance to what he could do on Merseyside.
Perhaps the Reds fans are being naive, but they don’t believe Jurgen Klopp would take any other job on the planet at the moment.
