Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock January move for former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.
Defending Premier League champions are believed to be keen on to bolster his attacking options in January having been left unconvinced by Belgium international forward Michy Batshuayi, who could be in line to leave Stamford Bridge stadium during the ongoing transfer window.
The Blues attempted to sign Fernando Llorente earlier in the summer only to miss out to their bitter Premier League Tottenham Hotspur, however, former Juventus boss, Antonio Conte has not given up on to sign a quality back-up option for Alvaro Morata and reports have claimed that he is now considering move for Liverpool flop Andy Carroll.
Former England international forward has been plagued by injuries since making the switch to the Hammers from Liverpool back in 2012, however, found the net twice in West Ham’s victory over West Brom last week.
The 28-year-old forward has been spoken of as a potential contender to secure a place in England squad before the World Cup should he stay fit, and Conte is reportedly willing to give him chance to impress on top level if he agrees to make move to Stamford Bridge.
