Ipswich Town are interested in a move for Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Ipswich are keen to bring Lafferty into Portman Road on a free transfer when his contract expires later this month.
Lafferty will be a free agent this summer after Norwich announced that he would not be offered an extension on his contract, despite the club having the option of an extra year.
Norwich announced that seven first-team players will be leaving the club at the end of the month.
Ryan Bennett, Sebastien Bassong, John Ruddy, Yousouf Mulumbu, Michael Turner and Steven Whittaker were the other players named.
Bennett has already secured a move to Wolves, whilst Bassong and Whittaker are close to joining Bursaspor and Hibernian respectively.
Lafferty played just 39 games in three years for Norwich, scoring four times. His reputation certainly will not be enhanced by a move to bitter rivals Ipswich.
