According to the Italian media outlets, Chelsea forward Diego Costa‘s transfer to Serie A giants AC Milan is in some doubt but the player’s agent Jorge Mendes hopes to offer the Spaniard to the club again this week.
The 28-year-old Diego Costa is holding out for a return to his former club Atletico Madrid this summer, but the move seems unlikely due to Atletico’s transfer ban. Costa has also been in talks over a move to the San Siro after being told he has no future at the west London club.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has made it clear that Costa will not be part of his next season plans, after messaging the Spain international and seemingly targeting a move for Everton No.10 Romelu Lukaku as a replacement.
However, AC Milan are unsure over doing a deal for the ex-Atletico Madrid star due to his age, wage demands and apparent desire to move to Vicente Calderon above all other offers.
The reports from Italian publication Calciomercato claim that super agent Jorge Mendes will try again to offer Diego Costa to Milan after helping them to sign Andre Silva from Porto recently.
