According to the Italian publication Calciomercato, Serie A champions Juventus are planning a summer move to sign Liverpool central midfielder Emre Can.

The 23-year-old Emre Can has 18 months remaining on his current contract deal at Anfield and has yet to agree new terms, alerting the Italian champions.

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri is in the market for two new midfielders this summer and is believed to be a big admirer of Liverpool No.23 , who has joined Merseyside giant from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2014.

The same sources also claim that Massimo Allegri intends to swoop for Emre Can, as well as reported Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud from Borussia Monchengladbach, when the transfer window opens in the summer.

The German midfielder has made 76 top-flight appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring five goals, and has also been capped seven times by the Germany national side.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are preparing for the summer move for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, who has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks.

The 32-year-old veteran shot-stopper is believed to be keen on a new challenge after over ten years in Serie A.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly desperate to find a goalkeeping solution with concerns over the suitability for the Premier League of Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
