Benfica want to send out the 24-year-old winger on loan with an option to buy for €30m in the summer.
The Foxes are considering a move for Benfica winger Rafa Silva, according to reports. The 24-year-old, once dubbed the ‘Portuguese Eden Hazard’, is available on loan in January, with an option to buy him for €30million in the summer.
Silva has made just one start in the Primeira Liga this season and has struggled to shine since joining from fellow Portuguese club Braga in 2016 for around €16m.
It was at that time that the Portugal international was linked with the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool and drew comparisons with Chelsea winger Hazard .
Leicester have been linked with Silva in regent windows and Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims City are still interested in a move, along with Everton.
Benfica are said to want to send him out on loan with the option to buy him for €30m in the summer. That seems a high figure, considering Silva was bought for half that price in 2016 and has failed to impress in his time at Benfica.
