Liverpool beat Real Madrid in race for £62m-rated Brazilian star

February 24, 2018

Authoritative Brazilian media outlet UOL have denied recent rumours in the English media that Liverpool’s concern in Roma keeper Alisson has lessened.

In fact, they recommend that the Reds are still very much in the pursuit for Brazil international and genuinely ‘have an advantage’ over PSG and Real Madrid, with the 25-year-old eager to make the Anfield switch!

Recent claims from Goal suggest that Jurgen Klopp’s side decided not to focus on Alisson after Loris Karius’s fine performances, but Liverpool fans still hope the South American claims of a U-turn are accurate.

Rated at £62m, Alisson Becker is one of the world’s best keepers and has confirmed as much with series of spectacular displays this year in both Serie A and the Uefa Champions League.

He’s a remarkable shot-stopper, but has excellent sweeper features and visibly inspires faith in his defenders, too.

The chiefs at Anfield would like Karius to keep performing well, certainly, but they’d be unwise to snub the chance of signing an elite goalkeeper

If the Reds do manage to sign Brazilian keeper, they’ll have the world’s most valuable keeper. Rated at approximately £62m.
