Liverpool are on the verge to sign Chelsea highly-rated midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies on a free transfer after the Londoners released him, sources close to the Reds told to ESPN.
The 20-year-old midfielder was not offered a new contract by Chelsea, with his current deal expiring in the summer, and several clubs have keeping tabs on his situation.
The Merseyside Reds took Christie-Davies on trial in March and it seems he has done enough to win a transfer to Anfield.
He joined The Blues academy from Brighton & Hove Albion and progressed from the youth setup to the under-23s, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016 and the UEFA Youth League in 2016.
The Blues midfielder is likely to link up with the Reds under-23s next campaign, following ex0Chelsea teammate Dominic Solanke in leaving Stamford Bridge for Merseyside.
Meanwhile, Dominic Solanke who has left Chelsea for Liverpool is likely to depart from Anfield this summer in order to secure regular first-team football elsewhere.
Newcastle United are believed to be keen on to lure former Chelsea forward at St James Park, while Rangers are also in the hunt for his signature.
