Xherdan Shaqiri insists he is fully focused on the World Cup tournament amid speculation linking him with a switch to Liverpool.
The Switzerland attacker has been rumoured with a cut-price move from the Potters with the former Bayern Munich forward available for just £12million, due to his release clause after Stoke have been relegated from Premier League.
Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp is in the market for attacking reinforcements and Shaqiri seems to be an ideal back-up option for Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Asked what he thought of the Reds iconic stadium, Shaqiri burst out laughing before replying: ‘
“The Anfield stadium is great certainly. Why are you talking about Liverpool?
Asked again on his future, former Bayern Munich winger added: ‘I can’t tell you anything right now. I think my agents take care of my future. I’m focusing on the national team right now.’
Switzerland have been drawn in Group E where they will face Brazil, Serbia and Costa Rica.
The Merseyside Reds have already signed Fabinho from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco this summer and secured the services of Naby Keita as well.
