Juventus will reportedly considering to challenge Liverpool for the signing of Sporting CP defensive midfielder William Carvalho, as Jurgen Klopp is appeared to be a big admirer of the Portuguese star.
It’s known the powerful midfielder has a €40 million (£35.5 million) release clause in his current contract, but despite that potential expense, Juve are going to sign both Carvalho and Liverpool German midfielder Emre Can in the summer.
The Sporting star came through the Lisbon outfit’s academy and had long been touted for a potential transfer to one of Europe’s top leagues.
As Calciomercato’s report, West Ham United were also linked with the Holding midfielder during the January transfer window. Portuguese daily Record reported Everton were considering a massive bid, while the Mirror’s claimed that The Ligiu 1 champions AS Monaco were also interested.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp will demand to involve Gerard Deulofeu in a deal for Philippe Coutinho when Barcelona returns for his head in January.
The ex-Everton attacker is believed to be in the plans of Jurgen Klopp and wants him at Anfield if Brazilian playmaker leaves the club.
The Spain giants are expected to reignite their pursuit of 25-year-old Liverpool star when the transfer window will be reopened in January. Despite offering around £118m for Coutinho in the summer, Jurgen Klopp has blocked the midfielders transfer to the Nou Camp.
However, Coutinho remains keen on to make a switch to Barcelona and transfer could happen in winter.
