West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini reportedly remains a top transfer target for Liverpool this summer.
The Argentine playmaker has endured a stop-start of 2017/18 season with the Hammers due to injury. However, he still managed five goals and six assists in 27 appearances.
The 25-year-old playmaker who has two years left on his current deal with the Hammers has previously claimed that he will happy in London, but according to The Mirror, Liverpool are planning to make an offer for his signature this summer.
The Mersyeside Reds have money to spend after the January sale of Philippe Coutinho and luring Lanzini at Anfield considered as a like-for-like replacement for the Brazilian.
The Hammers would likely demand a large fee for their star player, but the 25-year-old’s contract situation could be a problem for the London club.
The East London outfit could move to tie down Lanzini to a fresh deal before the start of the next season and fend off interest from hosts of European clubs.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Monaco winger Thomas Lemar in order to strengthen their offensive end.
