According to the latest odds from bookmakers, West Ham United are favourites in race to sign Liverpool out-of-favour striker Daniel Sturridge, who has been linked with a departure from the Anfield club.
Sky Bet have installed West Ham and Southampton at odds of 6/1 to sign the England international before February 3, 2017.
Other Premier League outfit in the running to sign the 27-year-old Sturridge are, Arsenal at odds of 10/1, Tottenham Hotspur at 14/1 and Serie A giants AC Milan at 16/1.
The Hammers manager Slaven Bilic has four strikers at the club, Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and two summer signings Simone Zaza and Ashley Fletcher.
Between them this term they have only scored two goals in Premier League as injuries and bad form have seen them struggling to find the back of the net.
And as a result, the London-based club have been struggling for form during the first half of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
The Hammers currently sit on 13th position in the table on 19 points from 17 matches winning five games and scoring only 19 goals this campaign.
However, the 27-year-old Sturridge has failed to score a Premier League goal this term, registering only two assists in ten matches, five of which he has started.
