Watford are considering having to sell French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure this summer to balance the books amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Hornets may sell both Richarlison and Doucoure due to financial issues, and that could hand a boost to their team keeping tabs on the duo.
The same story reports that the Merseyside Reds, Tottenham and Man Utd are all keeping tabs on the £40m-rated Doucoure to strengthen their midfield options.
The French midfielder is likely to leave Vicarage Road according to the same report, with the story branding it “inevitable” that he will be on his way to leave the club this summer.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp’s side are believed to be on the lookout for a number of key signings this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to assemble a squad capable of fighting for the Premier League trophy.
The Reds finished fourth in the top flight last season and reached the Champions League final where Real Madrid beat them with a score 3-1.
The Merseyside Reds have already completed the signing of Fabinho ahead of the next season and Doucoure has been next on the line.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are also determined to strengthen their offensive end following the departure of Mihcale Carrick who has retired from football and the possible exit of Marouane Fellaini.
