According to the reports, Liverpool are reportedly plotting a deal to get the signature of Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes.
The Merseyside giants have been linked with the explosive star for some time with rumours circulating over the past two transfer windows.
A move to Liverpool has failed to ever come off for 25-year-old Promes but it seems the Reds remain keen to snap him up. The reports from Transfermarketweb suggest that Jurgen Klopp and co are drawing up a plan to bring the Dutchman to Merseyside.
Promes, who is under contract with Russian giants iuntil June 2021, has also reportedly attracted interest from Everton and Arsenal in the past.
The former FC Twente speedster boasts an impressive record from his time at Spartak. Promes has netted 52 goals in 103 matches for the club to date and has scored six times in ten league games this season.
Liverpool drew 1-1 with Spartak Moscow in their Champions League Group E tie last week.
And ahead of that clash, the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was questioned about his interest in Promes.
The German chief said: “He’s a good player, a very good player but there’s nothing else to say. There are a lot of good players that we have already.
“We already have a Dutch player [Gini Wijnaldum] who knows him really well so obviously they are good friends but this is not the place to talk about this.
“He’s a good player but a Spartak player.”
