Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the transfer race for 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Alan Guimarães, according to the reports.
As reported by Sports Witness, Real Madrid have also been keen on to sign Brazilian starlet and had already had a ‘verbal agreement’ for Guimarães after he turned 18.
However, the deal is far from done and not Premier League trio Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United ready to fight for his signature when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
The Brazilian kid has impressed several top European clubs following his standout performances in the U17 World Cup in India.
With this, the Gunners have joined the race to sign the Palmeiras attacking midfielder as Arsene Wenger sees him as a future star.
Sport Witness reported previously that Manchester United had scouts to keep a close eye on Guimarães. However, the Red Devils haven’t made contact with his representatives for a while.
But with the release clause of the 17-year-old being in the region of €50m, would Arsenal and Liverpool try and lure him in Premier League.
