Jurgen Klopp Ready to Sign EPL No.10 Star to Replace Coutinho

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already set his sights on Argentine international attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini as a perfect replacement for Barcelona-bound Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

The 25-year-old Brazilian attacker is expected to become the Catalan giants’ marquee signing of 2018, as Barcelona and Liverpool seem to have already agreed to his transfer.

Klopp is to reinvest the money back into his squad, however instantly, and The Sun reports that West Ham United star Lanzini – valued at around the £40m mark – will be on top of his wishlist.

Lanzini, who has joined West Ham as little as £10m from Al Jazira, has played a direct part in five Premier League goals this campaign in 14 appearances and could be a perfect replacement for Philippe Coutinho.

Monaco winger Thomas Lemar and Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka are other possible options for the Merseyside Reds in the winter transfer window. However, Lanzini who has already been established to the Premier League would be a better addition.

Liverpool currently sit fourth in the Premier League table with the battle for the title seems to be over following the Man City’s insane form and in order to secure top four finish Jurgen Klopp should splash money in January.

Liverpool closing in on a deal for 25-year-old Brazilian star

Liverpool superstar Philippe Coutinho could have played his last game for the Reds ahead of a potential British record move to Spanish giants, Barcelona, according to the reports.

Ernesto Valverde’s side have held a long-standing interest in Brazil international midfielder and have seen their three big-money bids rejected earlier in the summer.

The 25-year-old has made it clear that he wants a switch to Nou Camp, handing the Reds a transfer request, however, the club insisted that their star player would remain at Anfield despite interest from Spanish giants.

However, the Daily Mail claims that the Merseyside Reds have had a shift in attitude and are now ready to part ways with the ex-Inter attacker, who has missed the Reds recent game following the injury problems.

The report then goes on to claim that only an offer upwards of £133m will persuade Jurgen Klopp’s side to do business in this window and offload their star player in January.

Coutinho has taken part in 20 games for Liverpool in all competitions this campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in the process.

International No.8 Star Set Snub Liverpool Interest in Favour of Bayern Munich Move

Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka who has been linked with a switch to Arsenal and Liverpool has rejected Premier League interest in order to make Bayern Munich switch, according to a report.

The German midfielder is one of the most in-demand players in January’s transfer market after refusing to commit his future to Schalke 04.

Goretzka’s camp has flirted with potential moves  to Premier League heavyweights, Arsenal and Liverpool while Spanish giants Barcelona are also believed to have held serious interest. However, Spanish outlet Marca claims that the Bavarians have won the race for his signature.

Defending Bundesliga champions are rumoured to have already secured the 22-year-old’s signature, with formal confirmation has been left of a switch that will go through on june 30 when Goretzka becomes a free agent at Schalke.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been Capped 12 times at senior international level by Germany, where he has shown his potential scoring six times in that period, Goretzka is expected to delay his medical as he is currently nursing an injury problem.

The news will come as a huge blow for Liverpool who have identified German starlet as a potential replacement for Philipe Coutinho.
