Liverpool told to forget signing of La Liga No.20 Spanish winger

The agent of Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio has ruled out a move away from Santiago Bernabeu for the Spanish forward, amid interest from Liverpool.

Asensio has found back of the net seven times and assisted seven more in 44 games for the Spanish giant’s last term, while also featuring in three of Spain’s four World Cup games during the summer transfer window.

Despite being used heavily under Zinedine Zidane last season, the 22-year-old Spaniard has started less than half of his side’s games and was believed to be seeking a route out of the Bernabeu.

In the wake of reports Asensio has been a £150m target for Liverpool, though, agent Horacio Gaggioli has ruled out Spain international stars departure from the European champions.

“Marco won’t move, he’ll stay with Real Madrid,” he told Calciomercato.”He’s improving all the time. Next season I think he’ll be very important in Madrid.”

Spaniard has been contracted with Real Madrid until 2023, would not personally comment on the speculation during Spain’s World Cup season but after their, elimination Asensio could clear everything over his future.
