It’s not a secret that Man City have been have linked with several big names to add this summer, Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne are among those being touted with summer moves to the Etihad Stadium.
Citizens Superstar Samir Nasri is believed that they need to add top-class players this summer if they want to win Champions League for next season and Urged Clubs to sign some big names this summer.
He said: “If we want to be competitive in the Champions League, which is one of the main targets of the club, and if we want to fight for every competition, that’s what you need to do. That’s something that we’re going to improve in the summer.
“I think we’re going to buy some players to try to improve the squad, to improve the depth as well because if we want to be competitive in all the competitions, we need to have bigger depth in the squad.”
Nasri was asked about the competition what will be expected after big name signing but French star has no fears for the first team football.
“I signed a five-year contract and everybody at the club wants me to stay,” he added.
“I will be in Manchester, having a great season and winning silverware – that’s what’s going to happen next season.”
