Man United closely monitoring 22-year-old Barcelona ace ahead of official move

Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to go head-to-head in the race for Spanish forward Jose Arnaiz, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Premier League rivals have been linked with signing the Barcelona starlet when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.

The 22-year-old Spaniard has been tipped to have a bright future and both Premier League club are ready to fight for is a signature.

Spaniard forward has never represented his country at any international age. However, he has managed to score on his debut for the La Liga giants after scoring against Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey tournament.

Spaniard forward, who is also said to be attracting interest from Bayern Munich has signed for Barcelona recently from Real Valladolid.

Having started his career at Spanish outfit Talavera, Arnaiz has made 90 appearances in all competitions for Valladolid and Barcelona’s senior and youth sides and has managed to found the net for 31-times.

The report suggests that Arsenal and Manchester United have made enquiries about the possible availability of 22-year-old attacker, who only put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Catalan giants earlier this summer.
