Nabil Fekir’s fine form for Lyon has attracting interest from the hosts of European giants according to the reports.
The playmaker has scored 12-goals in 15-appearances for Lyon in all competition including the two against St Etienne last week.
Fekir’s progress was slowed when he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in September 2015, however, this term he has showing his full potential and his fine form has alerted Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has been identified as a long-term replacement for Alexis Sanchez who is expected to leave the club after the end of the current campaign.
While Manchester United see him as a perfect addition to their squad as they are aiming to dominate in both Premier League and Champions League in the nearby future.
Fekir has retained a close relationship with Arsenal’s new signing Alexandre Lacazette and he could convince him to make a switch to Emirates Stadium.
Fekir’s father has recently suggested that his son sees Arsenal as an ideal destination to continue progress.
“Nabil would like to finish 1st or 2nd and play Champions League football with Lyon,” the Frechman’s father said in 2015.
“If he leaves, it will be for Arsenal. It’s the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsene Wenger.
“He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench,” he concluded.
