According to the reports, PSV striker Jurgen Locadia is dreaming of joining Manchester United and has a plan in mind to work his way up to the Old Trafford side.
The 23-year-old Locadia, who can also play out wide due to his versatility, has long been considered a huge talent in Dutch football, and has a strong record of 53 goals in 160 matches for Eredivisie giants.
Speaking about his ambitions, the Netherlands Under-21 international admits he’d love to play for the Red Devils, and thinks he can do so if he follows in the footsteps of his former team-mate Georginio Wijnaldum.
During his interview, the young striker admitted that he could play for a smaller club in the Premier League before finally getting his ‘dream’ transfer to the Theatre of Dreams.
He said: ‘Manchester United is my dream, but via an intermediate step. I like the path Georginio Wijnaldum has walked, from Newcastle United to Liverpool.’
It remains to be seen if the Red Devils are interested in Jurgen Locadia, but the striker is the holder of an impressive record, when in 2012 he became the first player since all the way back in 1969 to score a hat-trick on his Eredivisie debut.
