According to the Spanish media, Real Madrid sensation Marco Asensio could be tempted by a move to Manchester United at the end of the campaign.
The 21-year-old rising superstar is believed to have attracted interest from a number of other top European clubs, including the likes of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
The reports from Don Balon claim that Asensio is weighing up a Santiago Bernabeu exit as he fears going down the same route as Alvaro Morata, who made 20 of his 35 appearances for Los Blancos last term from the bench.
Jose Mourinho’s side are considering a £70m offer, which would be enough to trigger the Spaniard’s release clause, and it will then be down to the player to decide whether to stay or leave.
Marco Asensio has three goals and two assists for Spanish and European champions Madrid in all competitions this term.
Meanwhile, United have handed a massive boost as the Red Devils summer target Leander Dendoncker admits he would jump at the chance to sign for the club.
The Anderlecht midfield sensation was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford this summer but a move failed to materialise. He has made 126 appearances for the Belgian club since his debut back in 2013.
It is believed that PSG are also keen on the 22-year-old star but Dendoncker has made his feelings about Man United very clear.
