Man United ready to beat Liverpool for 24-year-old German ace

According to the Daily Mail, four Premier League clubs have shown interest in FC Augsburg left-back Philipp Max.  Three of them are fighting to place on top four teams.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are keeping an eye on the 24-year-old German who made his Bundesliga debut on 25 March 2014 against Borussia Dortmund then he spent a season at Karlsruhe SC before joining FC Augsburg in 2015 for a reported €3.6 million

FC Augsburg currently finds themselves eighth in the Bundesliga after 14 matches. Max has played in all league games so far, scoring one goal and assisting seven. By the way, now he is having an impressive season so far has the highest total assist in the Championship this seasons.

Multiple clubs are looking to strengthen left-back positions so along with Max, Juventus Alex Sandro and Portos Alex Telles are thought to be on the radar of some Premier League sides.

However, Jose Mourinho’s main target at the full-back position remains Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since the last season but the transfer is yet to materialise.
