Man United ready to make Real Madrid’s No.14 one of highest-paid players

Manchester United are reportedly willing to make Casemiro one of their highest-paid players.

Real Madrid’s star midfielder has already built a strong reputation for himself at the Bernabeu.

The Brazilian midfielder played a key role in Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumph last season. And that appears to have attracted the Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho.

PSG were already rejected in their efforts to sign Casemiro away from Spain’s capital. But that has not deterred the Red Devils, who are ready to table the Brazil international an offer.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Jose Mourinho would propose to Casemiro a similar salary to that of Paul Pogba.

United’s £89m record signing reportedly earns £290,000 a week at Old Trafford. And Mourinho’s high regard of Casemiro means he would be set for a major pay bump if he were to join the United.

The Madrid man is said to be aware of the improved wages available at Manchester United. But Don Balon reported that he is happy at the Bernabeu and does not want to leave.

Madrid would fight hard to keep Casemiro, having already seen off PSG’s interest, which was requested by Neymar.
