As per the Metro, Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderling is getting closer to leave the Old Trafford in January transfer window, as League 1 outfit Marseille are the latest club to show an interest in sealing the transfer of French midfield star.
Premier League duo West Brom and Everton have been strongly linked with the out-of-favour midfielder, with the Red Devils believed to be asking for over £20m for his signature this month.
The 27-year-old France international shone at previous club Southampton before joining Man United last term, though he has since struggled to replicate his best form, dropping to the bench since the Red Devils appointed Jose Mourinho as the head coach.
Accoridng to The Sun, Marseille are now interested in signing the former Saints midfielder, while Serie A giants Inter Milan also remain contenders as Man United would apparently favour selling the 27-year-old to a foreign club over a Premier League rival.
Under new ownership, Marseille are ready to give the new boss Rudi Garcia significant funds to reinforce his squad for January transfer window and are not put off Man United’s price tag for Morgan Schneiderlin.
