Man Utd have made approach for Serie A star valued at £44m

Manchester United have reportedly decided to make a move for Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj.

The Red Devils are expected to be in the market for new full-backs with the future of Luke Shaw Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind remains up in the air.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils head-coach Jose Mourinho has given the green light to activate Hysaj’s £44m release clause in order to strengthen the weak areas for the next campaign and compete for the Premier League trophy

The 24-year-old has spent the three campaigns at the Italian giants, with 132 appearances having been made by the Albanian defender in all competitions.

Napoli star still has just over three years left on his current deal, but the player’s release clause is likely to interest hosts of European clubs including Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Championship high-flyers Fulham have reportedly slapped £100m price tag for 17-year-old midfielder Ryan Sessegnon.

The Cottagers versatile midfielder has enjoyed a fruitful 2017/18 season and was recently named Championship Player of the Year attracting interest from hosts of European clubs.

Sessegnon’s fine form have raised eyebrows across the football world and led the 17-year-old wonderkid to linked with a move to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain.
