Swansea City are closing in on a move to make Luciano Narsingh their first January signing – with a deal for the PSV winger at an advanced stage.
It is thoughts talks over a swoop for the 26-year-old winger have taken place that could see the wideman unveiled as Paul Clement’s first capture as Swans boss.
Swansea had been keen to add a winger to their ranks to boost their attacking options. Narsingh had been on the club’s radar before Clement’s arrival to replace Bob Bradley with a potential deal on the table.
And it appears the former Bayern and Real Madrid No.2 has given the green-light to push ahead with plans to snap up the Netherlands international.
The 16-cap ace, who scored for the Oranje against England at Wembley last year, is out of contract at the end of the season and has been made available buy PSV for a cut-price move, with a figure of around £4m reported in his homeland.
And with the Netherlands international keen on a switch to the Premier League, Swansea look set to press on with plans to bring him to South Wales.
Swansea wanted to add pace to their attack with flier Jefferson Montero currently sidelined with a hamstring problem after an inconsistent season.
