Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi keen on to play under Jose Mourinho amid interest from Chelsea, according to the reports.
Argentine international forward, who is contracted to Inter Milan until the summer of 2021 this season has found the net for 17 times in Serie A in 19 games for the San Siro giants during the 2017-18 campaign.
According to Don Balon, Icardi is in no rush to leave Italian giants as he looks to help the club to claim the Italian title. However, the striker is eyeing a future move to Old Trafford as he is keen on to play for Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils spent £75m on Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future at the club is far from secure, and Jose Mourinho’s side linked with signing hosts of world-class centre-forwards.
Chelsea have been linked with signing Icardi since the arrival of Antonio Conte. However, the deal has never been materalised.
Icardi managed 24 Serie A goals for Italian giants last campaign, however, is well on his way to bettering that total this season.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 success at Everton on New Year’s Day.
