Arsenal are among five EPL clubs considering a January offer for Lyon defensive midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to the French nationwide daily newspaper L’Equipe.
The Frenchman only joined the French side on a permanent deal from the French club Amiens in the summer after initially spending a campaign on loan at the Groupama Stadium.
In addition to the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are also tracking the 21-year-old star.
Reports earlier during the summer transfer window had suggested that Spurs had offered €40 million for Ndombele, only for Lyon to turn down the bid.
So far this season, France Under 21 international has started all four matches in the league for his current club, carrying on from where he left off last campaign.
Ndombele made a huge impression during his first season with Lyon, making 50 appearances in all competitions for the club, netting one goal and providing eight assists.
No doubt, the north London giants and the rest of clubs pursuing the defensive midfielder will be keeping a close eye on his displays between now and January.
