Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck is wanted by Turkish giants Galatasaray, according to recent reports.
The England international striker is believed to have emerged as a top transfer target for the Turkish giants, who are believed to be keen on signing further quality plauer to their attacking options before the shut down of the transfer window on the August 31.
Welbeck has fallen down the pecking order at the North London club since the turn of the year following Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s arrival at the Emirates, with first-team opportunities has been limited.
Nevertheless, Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery said only this month that former Man Utd forward is not among the players who would be allowed to depart the Gunners for a foreign club before the window shuts down abroad.
Turkish giants have reportedly enquired over a deal for 27-year-old Englishman, who was a part of the England squad that finished in fourth place at this summer’s World Cup tournament in Russia.
However, it seems the Gunners are reluctant to let the ex-Manchester United forward leave, with Emery keen to compete for all possible trophies this season.
