Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez is reportedly not interested in departing from his current team during the summer transfer window despite interest from Manchester United and Liverpool
The Mexico international has been in fine form for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team during the 2019-20 season, founding back of the net 26 times and providing 10 assists in 53 games in all competitions.
The 20-times English champions have been heavily linked with the forward, and a recent report suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were closing in on a move for the 29-year-old. while the Merseyside Reds also kept close tabs on his situation.
However, according to Record, Mexico International forward ‘is happy in Wolverhampton’ and is not interested in departing from the Molineux ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Jimenez has ‘interest from great teams’, though, according to the report, with Serie A defending champions, Juventus also believed to be closely monitoring the developments surrounding his future.
The forwards current deal with Wolves, who could still qualify for next campaigns Champions League via the Europa League, is set to run until June 2023.
Man Utd also eyeing a summer move for another Mexican forward Hirving Lozano who has been tipped with a departure from Napoli ahead of the next campaign.
